Brandy Hole Lane, Chichester

A two-storey extension and sensitive renovations to a 1930s Arts and Crafts home in Brandy Hole Lane, Chichester.

This project involved transforming a historic house, untouched since its construction, into a functional and modern space while preserving its original charm. The existing small, dark kitchen was replaced with a spacious kitchen and breakfast room featuring direct access to the garden. A new master bedroom and en-suite bathroom were added upstairs, offering views of the South Downs. Careful attention was given to sourcing reclaimed materials to match the original design, while the home’s infrastructure was fully updated with new electrics, heating, plumbing, and windows.
